This will be short. If you haven’t heard Coldplay’s new Viva la Vida track from the upcoming record of the same name, get ready. This anthem is brilliantly written and beautiful. Mega-hits sell tickets and albums. Art can inspire. This might do both.

There’s a rumor out that they plagiarized the melody. Have you heard anything about it?
I have – but it’s made very little press. I heard the Creaky Boards song, but I’m not convinced Chris Martin is a thief. I’ve heard a lot more “closely related” pieces before.
